I'm sharing this story not to bash the Pixel 10 Pro or suggest it has a durability issue. I'm confident that the same thing would have happened to any phone under similar circumstances.
Instead, I'm offering this as a cautionary tale. Don't be like me! There are countless Pixel 10 accessories available, many of which are incredibly affordable, that could have prevented this from happening. And this applies to virtually every Android phone on the market. For just a few dollars, you can buy a case and screen protector and protect your investment from permanent damage.
