Kerry Katona's health journey has taken a turn, and she's sharing her story with us. In a recent interview, Kerry opened up about her terrifying experience, revealing a health scare that left her in agony.
Last week, Kerry was rushed to the hospital, screaming in pain. The former Atomic Kitten star, now 45, was in such distress that an ambulance was called, and paramedics had to administer morphine to ease her suffering.
But here's where it gets controversial... After almost three days in the hospital, Kerry has decided to seek private healthcare to find answers and treat her condition. She was diagnosed with colitis, a long-term condition causing inflammation of the colon and rectum, as described by the NHS.
In her latest magazine column, Kerry provides an update, writing, "I thought I was going to give birth!" She continues, "I was sent home with morphine and bland food instructions, which is a bummer because I love spicy food!"
And this is the part most people miss... Kerry has also been advised to rest, as her condition causes fatigue. She explains, "I could literally go to sleep right now!"
Kerry's journey doesn't end there. In a video shared on Instagram, she documented her hospital stay, revealing the reality of her situation. She showed her fans the intravenous cannula in her arm and the hospital corridor where she spent a night and a day due to the hospital's capacity.
In her own words, "It's been s**t - excuse the pun."
So, what do you think? Is private healthcare the way to go for Kerry? Or should she stick with the NHS? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
