Samsung's Galaxy S26 Series: A Deep Dive into the Specs and Features
The highly anticipated Galaxy S26 series is set to be unveiled by Samsung in the coming days, and a recent leak has revealed some of its key specifications, offering a glimpse into what to expect. Despite initial hopes for dramatic changes, the reality seems to be a more incremental approach from Samsung.
Battery and Display Improvements:
The Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra will indeed receive improvements, but they are not groundbreaking. The Galaxy S26 series will feature the in-house Exynos 2600 CPU in Europe and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in the US, both with 12GB of RAM as a standard. The S26 Ultra may offer 16GB in more expensive models.
One area that might disappoint some is the display. The Galaxy S26 is expected to have a 6.3-inch screen, while the S26+ will feature a 6.7-inch display, contrary to initial rumors of a slight increase. The S26 Ultra, however, will boast a 6.9-inch screen, all equipped with Samsung's AMOLED 2X panels.
Wireless and Wired Charging:
The Galaxy S26 series will support higher wireless charging rates, with the S26 and S26+ offering 15W and the S26 Ultra reaching 25W. On the wired front, the series will support 25W, 45W, and 60W fast charging, respectively, for each model.
