This chic little water-resistant band provides valuable insights into your sleep, physical activity, heart rate, and stress level, and it also helps you set goals and foster good habits. The latest iteration has a sleeker design than its predecessors—the better to blend with the rest of your jewelry and take more accurate measurements—and up to eight days of battery life (our older model lasted for four). “It’s one of the most effective wearable tools for optimizing health,” says Kahn. “Patients share their data with me so I can monitor their heart rate variability, a key metric for understanding how well the body is recovering from stress or physical exertion.”
We’re not sure which makes us happier: the minimalist design or how it turns any space into a sanctuary, courtesy of essential oil-based aromatherapy. “I love the scent of eucalyptus and tea tree, and this fills a room instantly,” says associate style editor Justine Anthony, who uses the Breathe blend. “It’s sleek, simple, and complements my décor; I especially like the glowing light at the bottom.” For total peace of mind, you can also set it to shut off in four or eight hours.
If you suffer from seasonal affective disorder or just need a boost, add this to your toolbox. The HappyLight uses non-UV rays to, essentially, bring the energizing benefits of daylight inside. “This lamp was recommended by my doctor and has made a real difference,” says fashion editor Sara Klausing. “I sit in front of it for 30 minutes, and I’m not as tired on days that I use it.” Set your desired time and brightness level, place it near you (it’s cordless), and soak in the good energy.
Need to get cracking on a work project? Desperate to unwind? This subscription-based app plays neuroscience-based soundscapes to help you sleep, focus, relax, or optimize your favorite activity. “Part of my goal for 2025 is being more productive with my computer time, so I use this when I’m doing email sprints,” says Bronfman. “I even listen to it when I’m taking a power nap—I’m obsessed!”
“I use my sauna daily, religiously,” says Hyman, who believes it reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, and dementia. For a similar effect, slide into this heated sleeping bag for a 30-to-45-minute sweat session. Infrared heat penetrates the body to reduce inflammation and increase circulation. “I am very impressed with it,” says Kahn, who cites benefits including “detoxification, supporting the lymphatic system, and promoting cellular repair.”
This digital platform, cofounded by Hyman, takes personalized medicine to the next level. Membership includes annual blood work measuring over 100 biomarkers, followed by a detailed report from a clinician and more tests three to six months later, so you can track your progress. “I was struck by how in-depth my evaluation was and plan to make my GP read it, too,” says Jennie Tung, senior director, wellness. “The good news is that my biological age is 12 years lower than my chronological age. The worrying news: I’m seriously low in vitamin D and high in many lipoproteins, which impact heart health.” The app offers clear, specific advice, which Jennie has already started to heed: “I’m lifting weights, avoiding white flour, and braving the tinned fish aisle. I feel really empowered.”
These cushioned smart goggles not only block out light; they also radiate heat, massage your face, and vibrate (you can sync the vibration with your heart rate). “They relaxed me so much that I fell asleep for hours—unheard of for me,” says creative director Adam Glassman. “On days when I have a headache or my eyes are sore, I wear them and the heat and pressure on my temples is so comforting.” Download the app to add sounds like rain or a guided meditation.
For the quickest, frothiest matcha or latte, we toss powder and water into this to-go bottle, secure the lid, and let the built-in electric whisk go to town. “Regular bottles involve lots of shaking to eliminate clumps. This does it for you effortlessly, and you can easily rewhisk if the contents separate,” Glassman says. Cleanup is a cinch, too: Just throw it in the top rack of the dishwasher.
Yes, weighted blankets are soothing, but they can be stifling as well. Not this find. “It’s heavy but not too cumbersome to maneuver,” says market director Rae Ann Herman, who adds that this luxe-looking machine-washable throw, which comes in three-, eight-, and ten-pound options, will look great on your sofa or bed. “The weight is evenly dispersed in a thin layer, and it has fluffy faux fur on both sides that won’t shed.”
Asutra Kids Lavender Sleep Mask
No more sharing your sleep mask with your mini-me. This petite style, complete with an adjustable band and a removable, machine-washable cotton shell, is designed specifically for children. It’s also filled with calming lavender and flaxseeds, making it a great tool to help kiddos unwind. “Nothing beats a weighted eye mask, and Asutra makes one of the best,” says Herman. “It’s super soothing and aromatic.”
Fun fact: A good long hug releases oxytocin, a hormone that reduces stress and inflammation. This pillow comes in 6-, 9-, and 12-pound versions and works that same magic, whether you’re holding it on the couch or snuggling with it in bed. “My favorite time to use it is in my lap while working,” says Anthony. “It helps ground me and keep me on task throughout the day.”
“My neck, shoulders, and back often feel like one big knot, so this has been a game changer,” says Anthony. It molds to your neck and stays put whether you’re working, resting, or walking around. Warm it up in the microwave and the heat-retaining Terraclay inside keeps the wrap toasty while it melts away stress. If you prefer cooling relief, pop it in the freezer.
This powder helps enhance focus, clarity, mood, and energy with ingredients like MCT oil, curcumin, and omega-3s. “I have a family history of dementia, so I’m highly motivated to keep my brain healthy and sharp. But I’m not great at taking pills,” says beauty director Kate Sandoval Box. “Adding a scoop to my morning smoothie is much easier for me, and it tastes like Tang!”
Wynk Seltzer
Looking for an alternative to your evening wine-down? Sub in this seltzer. Refreshing and fruity, it has a one-to-one ratio of THC and CBD, and no sugar, alcohol, or calories. “I have tried many things to both fall asleep and stay asleep,” says Glassman. “All of Wynk’s flavors are delicious—they’re like refreshing bubbly waters and not too sweet. Within 45 minutes, I’m sound asleep for the entire night, with zero haziness in the morning.”
Hyman adds this goat whey protein powder to his morning smoothies because goat milk contains more MCTs (the type of fat that fights inflammation and helps brain function) than cow milk. Better yet, Mt. Capra’s comes from grass-fed, free-range goats on a farm in Washington run by a naturopathic doctor and his family. One serving provides 24 grams of protein and is free of additives, antibiotics, and pesticides.
Lemme Sleep Sleep Tight Gummies
Formulated with melatonin, magnesium, and L-theanine, plus herbs like chamomile, lavender, and elderberry, these drug-free gummies work like a dream. “I admit that I was very skeptical, but now I love them so much I am on a monthly subscription plan,” says Glassman. “The recommended dose is two gummies 30 minutes before bedtime, but I take one and I doze off easily and wake up refreshed.”
Need a nutritional boost? Pick from four individually packaged, easy-to-tote supplement blends: Restore contains electrolytes, magnesium glycinate, and vitamin C to increase energy and improve immunity. Energy is like coffee without the jitters. Calm contains vitamin D and ashwagandha. And Sleep, a mix of magnesium and tart cherry powder, delivers quality zzz’s. “I’ve been using the Energy packet in lieu of coffee in the afternoon,” says Glassman. “It keeps me going without crashing.”
“I’ve given up pure coffee but enjoy a little kick of something at 11 a.m., so I switched to an adaptogen-based brew, and it helps me focus,” says de Belgeonne. We love Clevr’s SuperLatte, which contains fair-trade, low-acidity arabica coffee, with a lower level of caffeine, as well as probiotics and adaptogens like ashwagandha and reishi mushroom to lift your energy and mood while decreasing cortisol levels. It has oat and coconut milk powder, too, so all you need is hot water.
“I first tried Cann, a seltzer spiked with THC and CBD, during Dry January. It’s so good that I extended my goal until June,” says Glassman. “Within 30 minutes, I feel happy and relaxed. It’s just a light buzz that won’t make you feel silly or act messy. And I have zero sense of paranoia.” The starter pack features three of the brand’s unique, sophisticated flavors: blood orange cardamom, lemon lavender, and grapefruit rosemary. “They taste just like craft cocktails,” Glassman says.
“As my husband will attest based on the many, many bags of protein powder we have in our pantry, I’ve been on a quest to find the best-tasting, cleanest protein powder for years, and I’ve finally found it,” says Haddon. “I love that this has micro- and macronutrients from super-high-quality ingredients, and it tastes like a milkshake from heaven—no chalkiness, grit, or aftertaste. I add it to yogurt, cottage cheese, or a fruit shake to boost my protein intake.”
There’s a reason pieces from Softies have made Oprah’s Favorite Things for multiple years: The brand’s cloudlike Marshmallow fabric makes you want to say “ahhh” out loud every time you put it on. “Slipping into a cozy lounge set is one of my most cherished self-care practices at the end of a long week,” says Herman. “This is truly the softest escape. At the same time, the Johnny collar adds a bit of elegance—I’m perfectly presentable if a neighbor drops by unexpectedly.”
“This is stylish, flattering, and effortless!” says Herman. “It’s my go-to for lounging or running errands. The best part? It stays comfy and soft even after a few washes.” The baggy fit gives off relaxed vibes while the straight-leg cut dresses things up a dash. Whether you opt for the set or separates, this gravel color goes with just about anything. (The price above is for the top only.)
“This fabric is one of the best things to happen to athleisure—it’s so soft and lightweight that you don’t want to take it off,” says contributing lifestyle editor Holly Carter. “I wear this set on busy weekends, work-from-home days, and I’d even throw on a boot and rock it in the office. It’s also perfect for the plane.” (The price above is for the top only.)
The brand calls this buttery soft, moisture-wicking fabric DreamKnit; it’s made from recycled materials and has four-way stretch. “I have the joggers in three colors,” says Tung, who is five feet tall and fits perfectly in an XS. “The second I get home, I change into them to cook, lounge, and watch TV. In the morning, I wear them to walk the dog and do my Yoga with Adriene. This sounds weird, but you forget you’re even wearing pants!” (The price above is for the top only.)
After a tough workout (or tough day!), slide into these sandals for arch support, comfort, and stability. “They’re like a hug for your feet,” says Klausing. “From the moment you put them on, you feel like you’re walking on pillows. I also appreciate the minimalist design and soothing tones like mint, cream, burgundy, and navy that feel more elevated than clinical.” And the strap is adjustable, so you get your perfect fit.
“To be honest, these have ruined all other sneakers for me,” says Klausing. “I’ve tried every brand and can attest that they’re the best walking shoes out there.” The anatomical insoles have superior arch support, heel support, and responsive cushioning, and they’re light as a feather. “You never realize how the weight of a shoe can make such a difference until you experience these. I recommend them to everyone I know!”
Whether après ski or après errands, we all deserve puffer jackets for our feet. “I have plantar fasciitis, and my podiatrist recommends Oofos for its supportive footbed design that distributes pressure evenly to reduce stress on your feet, ankles, and knees,” says beauty editor Genesis Rivas. These cozy insulated mules “perfectly cradle my arches, offering major support with the comfort of slippers.”
There’s a reason these shoes are everywhere—and why active people of a certain age are obsessed with them. “They help tremendously with back pain,” says Haddon. This updated version of one of the brand’s coveted styles is extra lightweight but has maximum cushioning that keeps your entire foot supported with responsive foam and plushness in the heel.
Postmenopausal women need to do weight-bearing activity two to three times a week for bone strength. This weighted vest makes it a no-brainer. Sport it around the house and on walks, or while working out for extra oomph. “I am a huge fan,” says Kahn. “It’s an excellent tool, especially during low-impact exercises. The numerous benefits include muscle activation, burning calories, increased bone density, and improved core stability.”
High-quality performance...socks? Yup—we love them for the gym, long walks, and travel. These have supportive compression (20 to 30 mmHg) plus comfy cushioning, breathable fabric, and a special design that ensures they stay up. “They’re the Goldilocks of socks—just the right fit!” says Anthony. “They’re comfortable, colorful, and don’t roll down.” And with every pair sold, Bombas donates a pair to charity.
This may look like a stylish workout bra, but it’s so much more. “It was designed by an orthopedic surgeon and is FDA-registered and patented to correct posture,” says Klausing. “Essentially, it trains your body to develop muscle memory, so you feel stronger and more aligned over time. I recommend it to everyone—from petites to women with large busts—for comfort and the unparalleled support it provides for the chest and back. Plus, clothes just look better when you use it as a foundation.”
Okay, they’re a splurge. But these sleek spandex leggings have a very cool secret: They not only offer compression, but they’re lined with MicroPerle beads to help improve circulation and lymphatic flow (important for eliminating toxins from your body). “I work out in these, but I appreciate their circulation boost most when I’m in-flight or recovering from a ski day,” says Sandoval Box. The high-waisted cut is flattering, and according to Kahn, “They can help minimize thigh circumference and the appearance of cellulite with consistent use.”
“Essential oils have been used for therapeutic purposes for centuries,” says Kahn. “They can help calm the nervous system and improve mood, and promote physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.” This set features four transporting scents inspired by the founder’s native India (Bombay Fleur, anyone?). “I use the rollers both as perfume and as mood changers,” Kahn adds.
“I’ve tested many electric toothbrushes, and nothing keeps my teeth cleaner, my breath fresher, or my dentist visits easier than the Sonicare,” says Sandoval Box. This sleek brush is also at the top of Hyman’s oral care picks. Its sonic vibrations effectively remove plaque and clean gums, and it has a timer and a sensor that alerts you when you press too hard.
“This cream has been a staple in my nighttime routine because it’s nourishing, nongreasy, and gets rid of calluses,” says Anthony, who slathers on the buttery formula before bed and sleeps in socks for maximum absorption. The formula of safou oil, shea butter, olive butter, allantoin, and sweet almond oil immediately hydrates and softens.
“Daily eye care helps protect your vision, prevent chronic disease, and improve eye radiance and lash quality,” says Kahn, who uses these warm anti-inflammatory compresses to curb puffiness, excessive tearing, and sties. When you open each package, the activated charcoal in the compress heats up, and salts and ferrous powder keep it at a soothingly warm temperature for up to 30 minutes.
“This has been rolling around in the bottom of my bag for months so I can fish it out and take a whiff whenever my commute goes haywire or my phone won’t stop dinging,” says Sandoval Box. “I circle the jade roller ball on my inner wrist and in the hollow spot between my thumb and finger, massage for a bit, and inhale the zingy, gardeny scent meant to invigorate your mood. Works every time.”
After a rigorous workout, your muscles and joints need TLC. “This is an excellent post-workout warming balm, or you can use it beforehand if you’re stiff and it’s cold out,” says Glassman. It works with your body chemistry to create a personalized warming sensation. “I like to use it on my feet and lower back after a long hike or even a long day.”
Who wants to schlep an electric toothbrush (and clunky charger!) on a trip? With this battery-operated gizmo, you can maintain excellent oral care in transit. “The round oscillating head makes it feel like you are getting a thorough cleansing, just as you would in a dentist’s office,” says Glassman. “The compact holder fits nicely in all bags, and the battery charge lasts for months.”
The body oil, bath oil, and pillow mist all contain a blend of juniper, lavender, and chamomile essential oils meant to activate your vagus nerve’s calming response. “I’ve been a big fan of Osea’s nontoxic formulas for years and use their bath products daily, so I was super excited when they came out with this set designed to promote vagal tone,” says Berzin. “The pillow mist smells beautiful!”
“It might sound funny, but Flaus makes flossing fun!” says Glassman. Sonic vibrations (choose from multiple speeds) make removing food particles from tight spaces foolproof. “It’s so easy to use and has different settings that vibrate and stimulate your gums. I never knew I needed this device until now—it’s a must-have on my bathroom vanity.” Flaus heads are made with recyclable plastic and reduce the amount of floss you use, which means less waste ends up in a landfill.
You know the hot paraffin wax treatments you get at the nail salon? Now you can have that moisturizing, relaxing goodness at home. “These are so easy to use and a great way to relieve foot pain,” says Anthony. The paraffin-filled booties are infused with coconut oil, marula oil, argan oil, and vitamin E and can be used four times. Microwave them for two minutes and settle in for some serious me time.
These recycled-cork orbs are small but mighty. They soften sore muscles and improve flexibility with each rolling pass, and they’re also great for DIY reflexology massages of your feet, glutes—anywhere. The set even includes a tiny roller for your feet or face. “They take no time to use. I keep them by my desk and roll my feet on them,” says Glassman. “If I have a knot in my back, I like to lean back on it on a wall and roll it around until I find the tight spot.”
In TikTok terminology, this magnesium powder is the key ingredient in a sleepy girl mocktail (just add a half cup of tart cherry juice and sparkling water). The fruity spritz may not knock you out, but “magnesium does play a crucial role in supporting muscle relaxation and calming the nervous system, which can help prepare the body for sleep,” says de Belgeonne (though she prefers to use topical, not oral, forms).
Is the algo feeding you endless beauty influencers wearing LED masks, too? The hype has merit: Research shows that at optimal wavelengths (as in this mask), red and near-infrared LED light stimulates skin cells to produce collagen. “I have used my Omnilux religiously for a year,” says de Belgeonne. “The skin on my face is so much plumper, and my hyperpigmentation has evened out. I wear it while I practice breathwork in the morning; it’s a good way to double up my deep-nurture practices.”
Insert earplugs, grab eye mask, tape mouth shut? That last step is trending on social, as is the debate about its efficacy. If you breathe through your mouth while you sleep (bad breath or a dry mouth are signs that you might), taping ensures that you breathe through your nose, which can also prevent snoring. “I am one of those people who has a hard time waking up even if I sleep ten hours,” says Bronfman. “But with mouth tape, I feel more rested, as if I’ve had a deeper sleep.”
Colostrum, the nutrient-dense form of breast milk that mammals first release, is rich in bioactive proteins, essential fatty acids, immunoglobulins, antioxidants, and antibodies—and is featured in many a wellness influencer’s routine. “I recommend colostrum powder for patients who have GI/autoimmune issues, because early research suggests that it may decrease intestinal permeability and reduce inflammation in the gut,” says Berzin. “However, it’s not for those who are sensitive to dairy and, as with all supplements, it’s not regulated by the FDA. Talk to your doctor before starting anything new.” This option, by Armra, uses third-party testing to validate its benefits, which include less bloating and other IBS symptoms, less frequent heartburn, and improvements in hair and skin health.
